It is our hope that the information you find here will help you to make a more informed and therefore better choice on election day and throughout the year. We are always looking for new members and solicit input from all of Rockport's Republican voters.

Rockport is in US House District 1 (currently held by a Democrat) but served by Republican Senators. The town is in Maine's Senate District 22 which includes nearly all of Knox County and House District 46 which also includes Camden. We are fortunate to be served by the active, qualified and hard-working Christine Savage in the Maine Senate but our highly regarded and well respected Representative, Steve Bowen, was unseated and is now hard at work keeping Augusta honest from the outside.

 

OUR MISSION ...

The mission of the Rockport Republican Party is to help Republican candidates win elected office from the White House to the State House. We also seek to help Republican candidates win "non-partisan" elections to such entities as the School Administrative District (SAD) #28 and Rockport Select Board. We also endeavor to help keep the citizens of Rockport informed on issues effecting state and local government. Our efforts are intended to ensure that our children and grandchildren have a chance to live in a state and a nation of freedom and opportunity.
