Bob Carlson, Jr., announces his bid for District
48

Rockland, ME - March 3, 2008 -
The Knox County Republicans are pleased to
announce that Bob Carlson, Jr. (Owls Head) has decided to run
for the District 48 seat being vacated by Rep. Chris Rector
(Thomaston).
District 48 includes part of Owls Head and
all of St. George, South Thomaston and Thomaston.
Bob
Carlson has been a resident of Owls Head since 1993. He
is the owner of BC Electric located in Owls Head which he
incorporated in 1990. He is running as a clean election
candidate.
Bob and his wife, Carol, reside in Owls Head
with their 3 children: Robert III, Catrina and
Christine. Bob and Carol are in the process of adopting
two Ethiopian children which the hope to have complete by this
summer. Bob is a graduate of Rockland District High
School in 1976 and Maine's two-year electrical college
course. His son, Robbie, is in the Maine Army National
Guard stationed in Bangor, Catrina is enrolled in University
of Maine - URock, and Christine is currently being home
schooled.
